Annette Tobar, M.D.

Dr. Tobar is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine and Tufts Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences where she earned her medical degree and master’s degree in clinical research. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver.

She has been practicing in Southern New Hampshire since 2014 and joined Granite State Gastroenterology in 2021. She practices general gastrointestinal medicine and has a special interest in liver disease and managing chronic liver disease including cirrhosis. She is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.

Dr. Tobar grew up in Florida and has been in the Northeast since 2002. She and her husband Val have two children with whom they enjoy spending the majority of their time.  She enjoys staying active and being involved with her children’s academics and sports.
